Look At 7 Excellent Film Opinions For You To Choose From

By Rachel Flowers

Not at any time has it been so excellent to be a motion picture buff. Back in the day the only way that you could even see a film was to visit the movie theater. Later on, videos came out and you could get a videotape at the store but the motion picture that you wanted may have been out-of-stock and you still had to wait. You also needed to make sure that you avoided any late fees by making sure that you got the film back to the store on time. Now you can get the films by mail, but it is still a waiting game. Pick from the assessments below and download a excellent film to view today.

Thunderheart - There have been a number of murders on the Sioux Indian Reservation. The FBI goes in to deal with the situation. One agent, Ray Levoi, has Sioux blood. As he examines the case he soon discovers there is much more going on than some chance killings.

Above the Law - This is Steven Segal's breakout motion picture. He plays a Chicago Cop who takes matters into his own hands. As the title implies, he is 'above the law'. He uses his large body and martial arts skills to inflict disorder on the bad guys. Stars include Steven Segal, Pam Grier, and Sharon Stone. (1988 Action)

Mysterious Lady - An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, clueless that she is a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes, 1928)

The Prince and the Showgirl - Fairly good but slow moving comedy of saucy American show gal Monroe being courted by Prince Regent of Carpathia (Olivier) throughout the 1911 coronation of George V. Filmed in England, with marvelous performances by Monroe and Olivier. Cast includes Marilyn Monroe, Laurence Olivier, Sybil Thorndike, Jeremy Spencer, and Richard Wattis. (117 minutes, 1957)

Say It Isn't So - Pleasantly un-ambitious Klein falls for the new hairdresser in town Graham. They have consensual sex and then Klein finds out that Graham is his sister. It is a total flop. Cast includes Heather Graham, Chris Klein, Orlando Jones, Sally Field, Richard Jenkins, John Rothman, Brent Briscoe, and Sarah Silverman. (96 minutes, 1988)

Inferno - American returns to New York from school in Rome to examine the hideous death of his sibling, and finds "sinister moms" inflicting paranormal mayhem on both sides of Atlantic. Surreal, mesmerizing shocker by Italian terror genius Argento does not make much sense, but it has a lot of style. Cast includes Leigh McCloskey, Irene Marvel, Sacha Pitoeff, Daria Nicolodi, Eleonora Giorgi, Veronica Lazar, and Alida Valli. (107 minutes, 1984)

Like Water for Chocolate - Striking and sumptuous film from a work of fiction by Laura Esquivel set in the early part of the 20th century - a youthful girl's life is conditioned by her serious and steadfast mother, who treats her terribly. Magnificent tale, not without humor, with an excellent cast and a top of the line performance from lead actress Cavazos. Cast includes Lumi Cavazos, Marco Leonardi, Regina Tome, Mario Ivan Martinez, and Ada Carrasco. (113 minutes, 1992)
