In addition to the theme parks in the Gold Coast region of Australia, Surfers Paradise has lots of things to do for energetic and adventurous individuals as well. Surfers Paradise Beach is nestled behind the high rise hotels and it offers classes to assist you with learning techniques for various underwater adventures. Scuba diving, surfing, and more can all be experienced in this wonderful location. The surfing lessons are an experience that you will never forget. They can cost anywhere from AUD40 and up, and are offered in two hour incriminates, but offer some great knowledge and thrills. Surfers Paradise also has a lot of large ocean swells that are perfect for a more experienced surfer.

A great pace, nearby Surfers Paradise is Infinity. Infinity is an innovative place will bring you into the future. There are mazes, filled with lights and sounds for you to watch, listen and enjoy. These are excellent to get your imagination moving and transport yourself into another time dimension. Infinity is open to the general public between the hours of 10 am and 10 pm. The cost to enjoy this futuristic experience is AUD 20 for adults and AUD 12 for kids. This is an event that everyone in your family will enjoy, no matter what age or gender.

Ripleys Believe It or Not is a fun place to take the kids. They have all sorts of weird things to look at. You can see shrunken heads and the tallest human. Lots of the exhibits are in photograph form, but are very believable. You can visit from 9am to 11pm for AUD 13.50 for adults, and AUD 8 for kids.

King Tutts Putt is on Gold Coast Highway and is a fun place to play mini golf. They have a moving crocodiles and sarcophagus props from Movie World. They have giant ice sculptures at Snow World, which is right next door.

For the bloodthirsty, the Wax Museum, Corner of Gold Coast Hwy and Trickett St, gleefully depicts the depths of human depravity with its Chamber of Horrors. Adults AUD15.00 Child AUD11 .Other ways to keep the kids happy are ten pin bowling, sea kayaking , and of course tours to nearby Wildlife Reserves where here in Queensland it is allowed to cuddle a Koala.
