Danny Boy - Ambitious though arrogant, unrelentingly tedious melodrama of sax player Rea, who trades his sax for a gun after observing a triple assassination. This was Jordan's directorial debut, which he in addition did the screenplay. He and leading guy Rea later reteamed for The Weeping Game. (92 minutes, 1982)

Doug's First Movie - The megastar of TV's Doug is characterized in this weak, formulaic tale, produced entirely for kids. Easy going preteen Doug attempts to show mercy to an creature in need battle with his hope to take his girl friend to the school dance. This movie was designed as a direct-to-video production. Voices of Thomas McHugh, Fred Newman, Chris Phillips, Constance Shulman, Doug Preis, and Alice Playten. (97 minutes, 1999)

The Beverly Hillbillies - This is a movie based on the 1960's TV series. When Jed Clampett inadvertently finds oil on his farm land in Arkansas, he becomes an instant millionaire. He brings the entire Clampett clan out to Beverly Hills. Being down-to-earth country folk they are prey to every cash hungry con artist in the big city.

Knocked Up - A drunken, one-night-stand encounter between young, beautiful go-getter Allison,, and a careless slacker, Ben, changes the tracks their lives are on. It turns out he didn't utilize the condom, and she is pregnant. Can these two in fact become a couple and raise a child together?

The Interpreter - U.N. translator Silvia Broome overhears a death threat made against an African leader. She knows that she was seen and worries for her life. Upon reporting the event to law enforcement, she finds that assistance will not come easy.

The Geisha Boy - Jerry, an hopeless warlock, travels to Japan with calamitous repercussions. Creative graphic gags; there is a cute pattern characterizing the Los Angeles Dodgers and, specifically, Gil Hodges. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Marie McDonald, Sessue Hayakawa, Nobu McCarthy, Suzanne Pleshette, Barton MacLane, and Robert Hirano. (98 minutes, 1958)

Frequency - John Sullivan lost his father thirty years before. He is still affected by the death. Somehow with the use of his dad's old ham radio, he can talk with his dad, when his dad was still alive. He warns his dad of the fire that would kill him. This saves his father but sets off new events that now must be resolved, or John's mother will now pass on.

Colleague X - Structure with American Gable heating up arctic Russian Lamarr a streetcar conductor. Insincere romance premise by no means persuades; Bressart has awesome closing line, Cast includes Clark, Gable, Hedy Lamarr, Felix Bressart, Oscar Homolka, Eve Arden, and Sig Ruman. (90 minutes, 1940)
