The Costa Concordia, the newest ship in the Costa Fleet will be sailing its maiden voyage on November 23, 2006. This ship will be sailing an 11-day itinerary through eastern mediterranean starting from Rome and returning to Rome. Its scheduled port stops are Savona, Olympia, Athens, Izmir, Rhodes, Limassol and Cairo. There has been a big demand for eastern mediterranean sailings in the last few years, and cruise ships have been adding more and better ships to sail this exotic itinerary.
